OUR STORY

I, Marcella, founded MarRosa’s Old World Cuisine in early 2021. I grew up around good, Italian food because of my family heritage and ever since I was little, I wanted to own my own business. While attending Pennsylvania State University I majored in Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship which gave me a strong foundation and the confidence to start my own business as a junior in college.

If you’re like me and have never found a jarred pasta sauce that you’ve enjoyed, look no further! The MarRosa’s product line which began with our marinara and vodka sauces tastes authentically homemade, better than any jarred sauce you’ve tasted before. We are always expanding our line of sauces and will soon be offering pasta as well.

The inspiration for developing the look of my brand came right from my own bedroom. On my nightstand sits a framed photo of a silhouette of myself. My family had this made for me while on a favorite family vacation. Since my childhood dream was to own an Italian food company the silhouette of the little girl version of myself perfectly represents the essence of bringing my childhood dream to life!
